There will be 250 historic racing cars on the track in Monza Coppa Intereuropa an event organized by ACI Milano – Monza circuit and Scuderia del Portello.
The highlight event of the 60th Intereuropa’s Cup will be “Revival 1000 km”, starting at 3:30 PM on Sunday. A Lola T70 MKIII driven by Coplowe David and Martin Stretton will start from pole position.
The “1000km Revival” allows prototypes built before ’72 and GT and Touring models built from ’68 to ’72. Scheduled to compete are Alfa Romeo’s 33/3 and GTAm, Ferarri’s 365 GTB / 4, Chevron’s B8 and B16, Ford’s GT40, Porsche’s 911 GTS, Elva’s MK8 and a Ford’s Shelby GT 350.
Fans will also have the chance to see the track’s F3 Classic, U2TC, pre-1963 GT, F1, GT and other Sportscar Cup cars.
Keeping with the tradition of the event, numerous car rallies, vintage bike displays and trade exhibits are also scheduled for the weekend.
