Bumpers are on and, except for one backup light, the lights are in. All the new front end pieces were happy to get their full chassis lubrication treatment as well
The alignment process was a success!
Green is good!
Best news of the day was that she’s now legal! Passing the Texas Safety Inspection for the first time since (at least) 2001.
Metallurgical physics follow-up note:
In Update 5, I described plugging an exhaust manifold lead with a 9mm bullet. An astute reader correctly pointed out that exhaust temperatures greatly exceed the 621 degree melting point of lead.
Exhaust leak’s back.
