I so wanted to use the word "flawless " in this review.

You see, I purchased three 30 round magazines for my Remington® Model 597 about a month ago.  These were made by another manufacturer (name withheld – it’s not one that I carry in inventory). The ‘other’ brand consistently failed to feed – usually mis-feeding after two shots max.  All three of the ‘other-brand’ magazines had the same results: bad.

Having spent about $60 or so already, I was reluctant to try again – but, this week I took the plunge and bought three more 30 round .22LR magazines for my Model 597.  This time the magazines I bought were made by Remington®.

The Remington® Genuine Gun Parts – "Guaranteed to Fit" logo on the packaging was reassuring, but until my range-test this morning I remained skeptical.

After two full magazines (2 x 30 rounds) through each of the three Remington® magazines, I am much-relieved to report no failures, no problems.  The fit was perfect – extremely tight lock-up.

I’m much relieved to be able to use the word "flawless" for the Remington® Model 597 30-Round Magazines. The difference is much more than a logo.

Highly recommended.
