Last night, Kim and Connie du Toit were joined by Misha (The Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler), Og (Neanderpundit), Chris and Melanie (The Anarchangel – thanks to TheConservativeUAWGuy for the correction – Ed.), Combat Commander and approximately 40 more for a wonderful evening of dinner, conversation, and an extensive show and tell of various firearms.
This morning, we all met at the range for breakfast and later, we participated in in several DPSA-timed events.
The lunchtime speech by Kim was an honor to his wife Connie for her help in organizing these events – which hopefully will be repeated annually.
Several made the trip from such places as California, Arizona, Arkansas, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Indiana, New Mexico and even New York!
The festival for Day 1 wrapped up at 5:00 PM and is on again for breakfast tomorrow at 9:00 AM. A great event so far with Kim’s message: “A Nation of Riflemen is one which can be reliant on themselves … those who depend on others for their safety, take no responsibility for themselves and are therefore never truly safe.”
