Gunblogger Rendezvous – In Closing

At a late Sunday breakfast with Dan McKown, Mr. Completely, Keewee, Rivrdog and Og the Neanderpundit, the first annual Gunblogger Rendezvous drew to a close. By all accounts, the event was a success.

Much food, drink, conversation and a full day shooting at the range made the weekend fly by.

A highlight from last night’s banquet to note was when Rivrdog, the winner of the drawing for the Hi-Point C-9 9mm pistol, donated it to our guest of honor, Dan McKown. Dan’s own pistol was confiscated by investigators following his near-fatal shooting in the Tacoma Mall incident. (For details see this article in the Seattle Times.

Thanks Mr. C for the hard work that went into making this a memorable event. I look forward to next year’s gathering.
