I snoozed; I losed.
I was really looking forward to buying a couple this weekend, but the shotguns I posted about last week are gone (although there are some 20 Ga. models still in stock – here ).
What’s a cowboy to do?
As I understand the rules. a Cowboy Action shoot requires a six-shooter, a side by side shotgun and a lever gun.
Preliminary digging uncovered a sweet Colt’s 4.75″ SAA Revolver in 45LC for $1,220.99 (Item Number CTP2840Z ).
Some more digging uncovered a trio of Cowboy-D goodness for less than the price of the Colt:
The Revolver (See CIMMP410 ) is a Cimarron Model P, Single Action Army in 45LC with a 4.75″ barrel in Blue Steel for $431.99.
The Shotgun (See CIMM1878COACH ) is a Cimarron 1878 Coach Side by Side 12Ga (3″) with a 20″ barrel in Blue Steel and a Wood Right Hand stock for $397.99.
The Lever Gun (See MS41010 ) is a Mossberg 464 in 30-30 Winchester with a 20″ barrel for $380.99.
Altogether, these cost of these three guns totaled $1,220.97 – a savings of $.02 less than the Colt alone!
(I bought the trio.)
I guess the next acquisitions will be in the Gun Leather and Ammunition departments.
All in all, it’s been a GREAT weekend in the States! Tomorrow, it’s back to Canada for me.
