While the Texican Tattler and JR (A Keyboard and a .45) were strolling the exhibits at the Market Hall Gun show, your humble host at Traction Control was spending time and expending hot brass and fast-moving lead on a hot Texas range.
Today’s venue was not the usual Sooper Sekrit spot but instead, it was the exclusive, double-plus extra Sooper-Duper sekrit spot of the society which will not be named due to its extra-super-1%-exclusivity.
Gordon (Gordo – North Texas Chapter), Ed (ryhmes with “dead”) and Nathan (?) (rhymes with nothin’) made it a great afternoon while temperatures pegged 101 degrees.
I shot (at) Sebastian’s devilishy difficult e-Postal match target with the Smith & Wesson 22A and the Ruger Mark III. With both guns, 3 hits out of twenty (counting double hits as misses) was my best score. Did I mention they were devilishly difficult? Well alrighty, then.
Go to Snowflakes in Hell’s site (hit the e-Postal match target link for the target and the rules) and shoot some!
Fair warning though, the one-inch targets blobs at 30 feet are hard to hit. Did I mention it was difficult? Yes, I believe I did mention that.
