On a gorgeous Fall morning and afternoon, I had the opportunity to drive all five of my cars.

My Lexus 430 SC, two Honda CRVs; my 1968 Chevy C-10 Custom and my 1965 Shelby AC Cobra.

The Cobra’s clutch wouldn’t let me put it in gear while it was running until I put a few miles on it. (I started the engine in gear to get it going).

As always, the ’65 AC Cobra was a wild and terrifyingly explosive ride; spinning the tires in 2nd gear just by pushing the gas pedal. Chirps the tires in 3rd and 4th after shifts.

It. Is. Awesome.

After today’s run, the hydraulic clutch is now functioning properly. I should take her out more often to keep her limbered up.
