The first day on the road after the State Inspection, I got a Thumbs Up signal from the passenger in this car:

The ol’ 68 truck may not be purty yet, but she’s a long way from homely.
Current status:
The kiln dried hardwood Red Oak flooring for the truck bed have been given a Varathane Weathered Gray wood stain finish.
Picture is after the third coat of Minwax Polyurethane Clear Gloss. Coat one was about a half a quart applied by brush, later coats were spray on Minwax Polyurethane Clear Gloss.
While finishing the bed floor, I also stained and coated he wooden steering to match.
All of a sudden, she’s gettin’ purty all over.
