MIDLOTHIAN — Police have released details about the 200-mile procession planned for a former Navy SEAL sniper who was killed at a Glen Rose shooting range.
Midlothian Police Chief Carl D. Smith said the procession for Chris Kyle will begin at about 8 a.m. Tuesday at the local school district’s multi-purpose stadium and will end at the Texas State Cemetery in Austin. The procession will take U.S. 297 to Interstate 35E.
Military personnel, first responders and the Patriot Guard will provide escort services.
Kyle earned a reputation as one of the military’s most lethal snipers during four tours of duty in Iraq. His wartime account, “American Sniper,” was a best-seller.
RIP Chris.
