This story claims the border fence is "already half built "!
"To complete the 670-mile fence – already half built – the administration has asked Congress to approve the use of $400 million set aside for other programs, mostly surveillance technology projects along the U.S.-Mexico border, Jayson Ahern, the deputy commissioner of Customs and Border Protection, said on Tuesday."
[Emphasis added - Ed.]
From what I’ve read, the only fence "built" was a bug-plagued, virtual 28-mile non-fence that failed to work .
Half Built?
Let’s see … 28 miles divided by 670 miles, or should that be divided by 2,000 miles? … yea I guess that’s about half — half of 10%!
How come we haven’t seen any pictures of this 335 mile creation yet?

Having just come from Kalifornistan, and having repeatedly driven CA-94 periodically, I can honestly say, “Fence, what fence?” Hell, individual homes and businesses along 94 were better enclosed and defended than the border was/is, which is certainly a sad statement on affairs indeed.
I suppose that’s the beauty of the “virtual fence” concept. You can claim it’s there (and collect $400 million) when it’s actually – well, more virtual.
