After 12/31/2013, there are none (except for one model – likely a typo – with a 2033 date).

So, if I’m reading this correctly when I go renew my CCW in CA. none of my handguns will be approved to be listed on my permit?
I don’t know what to make of it!
If listed guns are retested (and extended) I would expect the timeline to extend out further than a year.
The ‘dive to zero’ in the California table suggests that approval for sale is going away. It does not imply anything about ‘approval to carry’ as far as I know.
Is your carry piece currently on the ‘approved for sale’ list?
Maybe they have always been re-certified every year?
According the the California code, registrations are only good for 2 years, it seems:

Two year effective periods would have newly listed models out to November 2014 would it not?
Like I said, interesting.
This list would look exactly like a list of Driver’s Licenses by expiration date. Handgun manufacturers have to pay a fee every two years to remain on the list. The vast majority do so the vast majority of the “expiring” guns this month will have new renewal dates in 2 years and a month.
But yeah, it’s unconstitutional and we’re already suing CA DOJ over this in a case called Peña v Cid.

Califoria?
Doesn’t surprise me at all. No wonder 1200 businesses and 298,000 people moved out of there in 2012.
