A new addition to the GBR participants is none other than Bill Quick from Daily Pundit – the first blog I read some seven (?) years ago.

Our afternoon stock-up run to Cabela’s provided an unexpected finding: Kimber Magazines do not work in my Kimber Pro Carry II. Wilson Combat mags (my first choice) were sold out but Triple K mags seem to function fine. Copious Hat Tips to Ryan at Cabela’s for function testing various magazines with my pistol at the Cabela’s gun counter.
I bought two ‘boxes’ of .45 ammo to add to the 10 lbs I was ‘not enfringed’ for commercial air travel – the two boxes in this case were metal ammo boxes containing 350 rounds each.
I’m planning to shoot and share some targets for True Blue Sam’s September ePostal match. Print out some targets from True Blue Sam’s place and join the competition at your range.
