A catastrophic pump failure put the Texas Estate’s pool filtration system out of order.
Leslie’s Pool Center at Stanton Plaza in Arlington deserves a BIG tip of the ol’ sombrero for getting me back up and running for just the cost of parts. A $58.00 charge for a capacitor and some seals was much better than a $200 – $400 motor replacement.
Thanks, guys. I’ll be back soon to spend more money at your place!
P.S. I really hate messing with 230 v wiring. I know the circuit breaker is off, but it still creeps me out.

230? Heck, I don’t like messing with 115 …
I had the same sort of trouble with our central Air conditioner, two caps went bad and one lead of the 240 supply burnt off (but not all at the same time), lots of fun I had fixing that, and all I am is a electronic tech. I finely replaced the unit last year.
