Tomorrow is the day!

The 2009 North Texas Trinity River Shoot is on!  We’ll meet at the Sooper Sekrit Texaco: I-45 at Beltline Road – in Wilmer (South of Dallas) at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 2 and caravan to the range from there!

Let us know if you are planning to attend.  You can call if you are lost, running late, or need directions.

The number of trips from the safe to load up my car impressed me:

Trip #1: Springfield Armory NRA/Camp Perry 100th Year Commemorative M1A

Trip #2:  Ammo for same. 1,860 rounds including 160 rounds of M118 LR – Match ammo with Lake City brass.

Trip #3:  Bipod and 30 Magazines (Ten each of 10-rd, 20-rd, 30-rd capacity)

(Trip #1, #2, and #3 are part of a package deal I’m offering.  See details here.)

Trip #4: Springfield Armory NRA/Camp Perry 100th Year Commemorative Mil-Spec 1911 (including 8 Springfield Armory single stack magazines) is part of another package deal, which would go nicely with the package above, too.  Details here.

Trip #5: Cowboy-up gear – part 1.  Cimmarron Coach Gun and Mossberg 30/30 Lever action. Details here.

Trip #6: Cimmarron Single action revolver (see previous link), holster and cartridge belt (details here – actual holster and belt are different, i.e. cooler than the one pictured), and 45 Long Colt Ammo.

Trip #7:  The Pistol Caliber Lever gun, in 45 Long Colt a Puma M92 and is shown here.

(Contents of Trip #5, #6, and #7 would make a very thoughtful gift for the Cowboy in your life.)

All firearms mentioned so far are new, in their original boxes and have never been fired. I’ll be bringing 4473 Forms and a Laptop for NICs checks if anyone wants to purchase them, otherwise these guns and accessories may be the subjects of some outdoor photo arrangements tomorrow.

Trip #8: Was for the HK MP5 SD (picture here) and other attractive desktop accessories from HK (pictures here). These are provided with permission from a customer, but sadly, only one of them comes with a magazine for ‘testing’ purposes.

Trip #9: Several Boxes of .223, 9 mm, .45 ACP and two folding chairs.

Trip #10:  Carry Guns.  The Hi-Point Comp 9 (details here) from the Gunblogger Rendezvous and the Kimber Pro-Carry 45 (details here).

Am I forgetting anything?

Cowboy hat?  Got it.

Camera? Check.

Oops!

Trip #11:  Uzi Pistol, Mini Uzi Subgun, Nickle-plated Smith & Wesson Model 539, an AMT .380 Backup and a couple of Browning Hi-Powers (details here) and we’re good to go.

I see JR’s about done loading up, too.  It should be a fun day!

Hope to see you there.
